How to Clear TikTok Cache on iPhone or Android
Clearing the cache on TikTok is relatively straightforward. However, there are multiple ways to clear the cache on Android and iOS. Based on the device and the operating system you are using, pick the method you prefer and follow the below steps.
Method 1: From the TikTok Mobile App
In this method, we will use TikTok’s built-in option to clear junk data and overhaul the app, saving storage space and improving your experience. No matter which device you use, you can quickly execute this method. Follow the below instructions. Note: The steps may vary depending on your TikTok app version. Check if the app needs to be updated before proceeding. Step 1: Launch TikTok on your Android or iOS device, and from the Home, go to the Profile tab from the bottom navigation. Step 2: On the Profile tab, tap on the hamburger menu icon at the top right corner. Step 3: From the bottom sheet, select ‘Settings and privacy.’ Step 3: Scroll to the ‘Cache & Cellular’ section and select ‘Free up space.’ Step 4: Under ‘Free up space,’ tap Clear next to Cache. In the pop-up, tap Clear to confirm. There you go. You have cleared the cache from TikTok, in turn freeing up storage space on your device.
