How to Reject Calls with Text Reply on WP8
When you receive a call on your Windows device you will be presented with 3 options: answer, ignore and text reply. It is very obvious what you need to select to reject with a text as a response. The moment you tap on text reply you will be offered a set of predefined messages to select from. Another tap on the desired response and you are done. Your caller now knows why you didn’t take his/her call. The third option in the list reads type a message. That is when you do not want to reply with a predefined message. Here you could type a custom one.
Setting Up Custom Reject Call Messages and Adding it to the Default List
You may not be very satisfied with the default entries of text replies in the list. Do not worry, it is just default, not fixed. You can easily change them and make more entries to a maximum of 4. Follow the below steps to edit or create text replies:- Step 1: Flick the Start Screen towards the left to reach the list of applications. Tap to open the Settings screen. Step 2: On the Settings screen flick to the applications section and tap on phone. It will navigate you to the phone settings screen. Step 3: Scroll down to find edit replies button and give a tap on it. Note: The text reply toggle must be in On status here for you to be able to reply to a call with a text message when you can’t talk. Step 4: Now, feed your custom message. You may edit or create any or all of Reply 1 to Reply 4. Tap the check button when done.
